The Magic of Sleep is one of those books you can’t help but fall in love with. My friend’s grandkid absolutely loves it. He is forever asking for it at bedtime, and honestly, I can see why. The story has this simple, comforting charm, and the illustrations feel like something you’d find in an old favorite you’ve kept for years, right beside Goodnight Moon and I Love You Forever. I even bought the whole package, and the stickers and bookmarks that come with it are just plain charming. I want to hug the hippo!
It’s the kind of book that chills kids right out, almost like a story lullaby. I can already picture myself reading it to my own grandkids someday, all cozied up, tucked in, and drifting off with little smiles on their faces. In fact, my mother bought one for every one of her grandkids, a dozen if you don’t mind. That is how I discovered it and ran out and got one for my friend. If you want a bedtime story that really shines, this one is truly a dream come true, pun very much intended.
